Paraloid B 72 has been used in restoration since the 1950s and is considered to be the most tested and stable resin employed for conserving works of art. It is best suited for treating, fixing and consolidating murals and paintings, as a primer and as final varnish as well as a fixative for graphic art, chalk and charcoal drawings and pastels. Also as an adhesive for glass anc ceramics, of for the preservation and consolidation of wood.
