Intensely shining colour spaces are a basic topic in the work of Lucerne-based artist Peter Roesch. This is impressively demonstrated by his colour scheme in the extension building of the Scherr school building in Zurich. The schoolyard, the stairways, corridors and recesses are painted in powerful colours; the paintbrush style and glazed application lent the building volume an air of joviality. For the prime coat on the fairfaced concrete Lascaux Hydro Primer and Uni Primer were employed, the colours were applied in one step of glazing. The walls have remained undamaged until today.
