SBB headquarters
In 2014 the Swiss Federal Railway Company, SBB, inaugurated their headquarters on the premises of Bern Wankdorf City inside two buildings designed by architects Lussi & Halter. Artist Mayo Bucher developed the colour concept for the atrium and cooperated in the design of the facade.

The buildings of the new SBB administration headquarters is shaded by colourful moving glass blades. These are aligned in accordance with the position of the sun, creating a changing impression reminiscent of the movement of railway carriages passing by. In the atrium of the building this topic is echoed by the colour concept created by Mayo Bucher. The Lascaux Crystal interference colours used for this generate a similar interaction between the colours through the light shining in from above.
