Heat-seal Adhesive 375 P (formerly "BEVA")

The proven Heat-seal Adhesive 375 P 
in a new formulation without toluene.


Our HSK 375 P is a qualitative further development of BEVA based on a blend of copolymer resins and paraffin. This adhesive for restoration work offers all the required product characteristics for professional use.


Important innovations:

  • Instead of toluene, HSK 375 P now contains the far less toxic solvent propylal. This means that there is no longer any health risk during use. In addition, the flash point of the new solvent is significantly higher.

  • HSK 375 P is ready for use at the same concentration and easier to handle. It has a pasty consistency and can be applied directly.
  • Solubility: We recommend the solvent propylal, available from Lascaux.

Characteristics:

  • Sealing temperature 62–65°C

  • Acid value: below 1

  • Colour: transparent when dry

  • Tough-elastic, excellent adhesion

  • Ageing-resistant, non-yellowing

Application:

For canvas linings with or without interleaf, for paper and textile linings, for edge linings (strip-lining). For facings, consolidation of grounds and paint layers, for temporary and permanent adhesion. Please consult the technical data sheet.
